What drives me most isn't the flash or the hype. It's the makers, thinkers, and tinkerers behind the curtain — the people who take a dream from their head and make it a reality. Positioned in close proximity to Georgia Tech, NIKE’S Atlanta office was purpose built to house teams working on cybersecurity, Logistics and Machine Learning.
It was important to the local team that their hometown pride shown through in the look and feel of their space. As such, we brought in a talented crew of local artists to tell their stories of sport and movement via vibrant hand painted murals.
A feature space within the facility is the Michael Johnson Conference Room, which is dedicated to the athlete’s epic performance in the 1996 Olympics in Atlanta. This room features gold detailing referencing back to the gold-plated running shoes that he wore at the games. The portrait of Johnson in the space is made from thousands of individually placed running spikes.
